ROX Riers on 650L....

Recommended Posts

A friend of mine picked me up a set when he was in the States.

I have the 3 1/2 inch Rox Pivoting Handlebar Risers. I wanted to not only heighten the bars, but move them forward.

The cables are not long enough, so I could not fit them. I need to get longer cables which have to be custom made. One of the jobs I have on hold until I have some free time. I should have got the 2 inchers.

The raisers themselves are very well made indeed, I don't think you will be disappointed.

I have 2" Rox Speed FX Risers on my '06 650L. Love them. Installed in 10 minutes. No issues with cable lenghths, flex, vibration, etc. A great product. Might be the best $80 I have ever spent on a bike. Not the best looking solution but certainly gets the job done - especially if money and ease of installation are a concern. ?:busted:

I'm 6'2" and pleased with the anti-vibe risers. They go from 7/8 to 1 1/8 which gives you the use of the 1 1/8 bars. I also have a Clarke tank, and they work for me. I haven't rode them hard yet, but will test these in the spring. The only cable issue I had was the clutch cable. I went with the Renthal Fatbar high bend. 2" risers with stock or normal or low bends would seem to work. I chose a no crossbar setup because my GPS mount was a problem. My wife just bought me a new waterproof Garmin I wanted and already fabbed up a mount where the handelbar clamp is. This seems to be a good place to securely mount it, and protect it in crashes. You can't pay too much for comfort!!!

My stock cable ties stayed right where they were. Installed the things in ten minutes with one hand practically. I got a phone call just as I was getting started and wasn't able to end the conversation. No simpler solution to raising your 650L's bars. They are also adjustable from front to rear by just tilting them.
