Showoff!:busted: Nice bike, congrats!

Zip-ty racing makes one of the more favored fuel screws; there are others, including PC.

Stock jetting is good, altough you may consider the 55 leak jet. Search and find lotsa good info in here.

I picked mine up Monday. Went to Piru a few hours later and the jetting felt good to me.

I have a Sunline fuel screw in my 06, and will be putting one in my 08 too.

The only thing that pisses me off is that I forgot to take pictures of it in the back of my truck when I got home and when I had her stripped down to lube the linkage/swingarm/headset. My wife said I should 're-enact' her 'homecoming' but it just wouldn't be the same.

That second pic reminds me of my old neighborhood in Simi.

Ok I got one more for you guys. Im new to the four stroke thing I have always had two strokes. When I fire off the bike it starts just fine I let it warm up to full temp. But when I hit the gas it blows white smoke out the tail pipe. Is this normal for a brand new four stroke? Does the engine just need to breake in before I panic?

Thanks for the help.

Yeah, you are just burning the packing and any "coatings" or excess lubricants. Also when you start it up, only let it idle with the choke out for about 10 seconds, that is all you need. If not you will load the bike with fuel, another reason you are seeing a puff of smoke.

Excellent advice!

I can't begin to tell you how many times I've seen people over-do-it...especially while waiting for their "Gate" at the races.

I'm jus' sayin'...

Thanks man! You made me feel alot better. I left the idle on for a min or two. I forgot about the packing.
