ok cool!

about the maintanance side of things. how much work are the wrf450s? meaning oil changes, spark plug, valves?

help appreciated. thanx

It will be no different than any other bike that you want to keep in good shape. Frequent oil changes, cleaning/oiling the air filter, washing the bike, etc.... just like any other bike. Keep it well maintained and it will last you for a long time.

If you're going to dual sport, I'd go by mileage rather than hours for your oil interval. If it were me, I'd change it every 200 miles. It's only a little over quart, so it's not a big deal. You can probably do the filter every 2nd or 3rd change...SC

A 250F will smoke you in the tight stuff. Actually, the 250F's will smoke you in just about everything.

But then again, you want the bike to ride it on the road (legally).

do you think $8000 grand is a reasonable price or is he ripping me off?

$8k is OK but a bit high. Especially being family and all. :D

WR's go for a high price over here.

I'd try and squeese him down to $7k. That would be a bargain.

thanx for that! great info!

wat do u guys think of the bike?

Looks good. As long as it's been looked after, should be good.

If you truely intend to register it, it would suit you.

Make sure you find out if it is learner legal on the road first though.
