have an 06 kx 450 that stopped runnin on my son, pulled it apart to find the piston cracked no big deal it was way over due, noticed when I set it on top dead center the intake cam lobes were settin closer to the cly head deck than the exaust cam lobes have seen this on a few 250fs never on the 450, looks as though the camsprocket has spun on the cam like the 250fs used to, on the 250f there was a small hole in each lobe and a small hole in the intake sprocket, they would line up with each other, looking down them, I am assumming the 450 uses the same stratedgy, anyone have an intake cam laying around that they could look at and tell me if I am right, if so I will reindex it and spotweld it, awaiting someones reply.
