I'm thinkin about installing one of those baja kits on my 426, and taking it out on the streets , what gear ratio should I be using? i'd like to get it up to at least 50mph

I don't have the baja kit, but I can tell you a stock geared 426 will run well over 50 mph.

I own a 05 yz 450 4 speed and changed my stock gearing from a 14/51 to a 14/48. It's not a comfey ride at 60 mph (gps speedo). I'd guess rpm's are about 8/9k with tingley fingers and it's kinda loud. I can't see myself riding on the highway at 65 mph for more than 5 minutes.
