I just bought a yz400 for a bush beater and it has an eline light coil. I've had hondas with elines and they are dry in the ign. housing. On this bike, the stator and everything is in oil. This may seem like a dumb question, but is it supposed to be in oil, or should it be sealed from any oil? Once I sort this out, i'll have the pleasure of tuning the FCR.
