I have just traded my buddy my 07 KTM 450sxf for his brand new KXF 450. I ride MX only with some arena cross. I am vertically challenged at 5'7"...BUT do not notice the tall feeling when riding this bike. It sticks in corners like glue. I have loved my KTM, so I have nothing bad to say about them. The suspension is great on the KAWI and the power is noticeably stronger...it just does not rev out as far as the KTM. The gear ratios are also a lot closer on the Kawi (will fix by going down to a 48 tooth so do not have to short shift so much). I definitely miss the electric start on the KTM but the Kawi starts up hot or cold with 1 or 2 kicks. I have not set the sag, clickers, or handlebars and this thing feels great. I am going to go with Team Green settings when it is all said and done. All in all this is not only a tall mans bike, but a short mans bike as well!!

I'm also 5'7" and love mine! I just stand on a rock at the start line.

Are you using offset clamps? I have the pro circuit 22 mm offset with 4+ rise (got a great deal brand new) I might need to go with the regular height mounts. I did not have them on on my first ride on the Kawi so will determine after my first ride with them. I also have the pro circuit linkage on it as well. Have you had to adjust the jetting? Mine was spot on the other day at 80 degrees F with the stock settings. I also found the stock bars to be a better bend than I have been using the past three years - Renthall 999. Anything else that will benefit me feel free to give me any advice that will help. I love this bike!!:ride:

I just ordered a set of 20mm offset RG3 clamps but haven't gotten them yet. I really like the stock bars and also use stock mounts. I got rid of the rubber inserts though, the bars get tweaked in the smallest of fall-downs. I replaced them with aluminum ones I got from Langston's.
