Anybody tried a smaller tooth on the rear? It seems it will pull it without short shifting so much. Thanks.

I was thinking of a 48t also on my 07. For those who have tried the 48t, how does it come off the gate? I seems I have to feather the clutch a lot now with the stock 50t sprocket.

I would think if you have to feather your clutch with the 50 tooth, you should go to a 51 or 52 tooth sprocket.

I thought the same, But the 2nd gear starts just took alittle getting used to. I rev the crap out of it and feather until it get rolling, then BAM I got the hole shot. It pulls longer and at some tracks I run 2nd to the first corner. You should try it. Find somebody with a KX250F( stock is 48) and slap it on and try it. Not like you can't take it off it you don't like it.
