My 08 has a DR D exhaust and a 50 tooth rear sprocket. These two mods definitely added a lot of low end power.

yeah but there are 2 of them whereas only 1 on the yzf. its like cutting the 1 silencer in half and putting it on the other side then making up crap about how the bike is now perfectly balaanced :worthy:

That would be interesting, since the as issued '08 has basically the same geometry as an '06 with pulled up forks and 24mm clamps.

The bike he was riding Sunday had stock clamps. Only a pipe was evident. And Enzo suspension

Never the less, it has 2 shorties. One has a bigger core than the other also.

Frist of all I have a 08 hon 450 @ friend has 08 yam 450. Honda does turn better . I was going to buy yamaha but pulled the trigger on the honda first old bike was 04 450 honda. Now after riding both of these bike they are so close it is not funny. We ride in district 6 in PA 30+ b top 3 for him @ me top 3 in 30+ c. I have ridden 07 yam 450 and the 08 yam is hands downs better than the 07. IMO why does the 08 need a pipe?
