I have a puller, screwed it in, hit it with a hammer, tried to screw it in more, no luck. Don't want to strip the threads.

I was thinking to heat the flywheel and to to cool the inside where I thread the puller, is this a good idea?

Ifalldown, can you come to my house and help me? I need my flywheel pulled, and I need you to wire me up for dual sport.

I don't have a tranny for you, but I can buy lots of beer, I'm only like 750 miles or so.... :)

I just pulled one on a XR100 for the first time. I screwed it in until it felt really tight and didn't want to budge. Then I smacked the puller NOT the flywheel. Then kept tightening the flywheel. It gave after pulling pretty hard on the wrench.

I used an impact wrench on one last month, shredded the puller and the flywheel. I'm a little leary but I may try that on a lighter setting.

You just want to put some good tension and tap. DONT try to remove it with just the wrench, the vibration will do the work. Spray some PB blaster on it too. Stuff works miracles!Let it set a day and try again
