i have a 2006 wr 450 that is just about stock. I have converted to supermoto and ride it often. How often should I be checking and adjusting the valves?

Do you race it, or is it a daily driver?...SC

It is a daily rider

As long as you're not racing it and changing the oil regularly, I'd give the valves a look-see a couple of times a year. Generally, if the valves need help, the bike will become difficult to start...SC

I agree with Clarke. A couple times per year will be good.

I race my 05 (same as 06) and ride it long and hard on play rides also. My valves have not moved in two years and I check them every 3 or 4 months.
