I have an 84 XR 200R with the dual carbs. I've read posts on other sites about people converting them to single carbs, but no one ever provides any details. Is it possible to convert to a single carb?

Almost anything is possible, its just more work than its worth.

The duals are not nearly as hard to deal with as people claim.

i have done some casual research over the years since my bike has the dual card set-up. 90% of what i have read says stick with the dual carbs. scroll down to the bottom of this page and you will see some links to similar threads.
