how big of a rear sprocket....?

Hi,want to change rear sprocket on a 2006 YZ450F,but I don't want to add
links to chain,(chain is new) stock I believe is 49,how big can I go?....axle
is midway on swingarm.P.S. or do they sell a 12 tooth CS? THX

I went to a 51 without having to add links on my 06.

About 52 on a stock chain. After that you actually need to add a few extra to get the wheel as far abck as possible or the chainring will hit the chain gaurd below.

wanna change out sprockets on bike from 14t/51t to 15t/48t.. what chain size would work best?
