broke my fuel screw right off

hey i am ben and new to tt.

I broke off the fuel screw off my 2001 xr650L,the whole screw broke off nothing is left sticking out. what is the easy way to fix this?

an aftermarket fuel screw? try to take off the bowl and see if you can grab it that way.

oh wait, i'm thinking of my fcr. what carb you have?

find someone thats got an aftermarket carb and buy their screw off them?

Pull the carb (or rotate it in place) and see if you can grab the stub with needlenose pliers, or tweezers?

the whole stub broke off beacase i was going to spin it to grind off the tab on it to turn up the mix

maby i could find someone off the fourms in canada near me with a pumper carb or something so i can buy there fuel screw

if thats the stock keihin, i dont think a pumper fuel screw will work. the one in my fcr is different than the stocker.

i mean if they have a pumper carb they probly have the stock one and sell me the screw out of it. i didint price one from the dealer or didint find one on the web yet

DUH what a dork LOL Where you able to get the broken part out of your carb yet or you waiting till you get a new fuel screw?

i am waiting to get the fule screw but the only prob is the is is stuck a little to lean and i dont want it to get hot
