Free Rox Riser Review

Recommended Posts

I was one of the lucky ones who received a free pair of risers to try out. First thanks to Rox for doing such a cool thing. I did not believe it until I actually received them.

I have waited to do this because I wanted to use and abuse them so I could really evaluate them. I received a set of 2 inch risers. They installed in minutes. If that is all you are using you do not have to get longer cables. I am 6'5" and 300+ without gear(damn it). Needless to say I am like a gorilla yanking and jerking the pig around on the trail. I also crash alot as would a gorilla! The risers held the bar position in crashes needing minor adjustment to put back straight. Might actually save the bars from bending with the small amount of give! The risers allowed me to really get myself in a better riding position. No longer way over the front of the bars. Standing and riding is now an option.

Right before I won these risers I had already order the 2 1/4" anti vibe risers. So they will get an extra review!

Anti vibe. Awesome! Got tired of my hands going numb. Killed two birds with one stone. You get the riser and vibration dampening. I dont believe you need longer cables with just these risers, but I went with cr double high, one inch block risers, and the anti vibe risers. The anti vibe risers are easy to adjust when going from street to off road, if desired. The only thing that I see being an issue is that I have noticed the rubber in the risers is starting to crack. They are not that old, so I dont know how long they will hold up. I have not checked into replacements at this point.

Now if they would be kind enough to send me some flex bars I would also review them as well!

I would give them very high marks for there products!

Thanks again to Rox ? ?

It's cool that they gave you a pair, but for $150 why not just buy a new upper tripleclamp wit htaller handlebar clamps, or a set of new handlebars?

i also got a free 2" pivoting riser from them. i love it. the fact that it was free and you can rotate them forward/back gives you a ton of adjustment.
