Just wondering if anyone had any experience with centre stands on xr650l's?

Is there any reasons why you wouldn't want to put one on (I'm a dirt bike n00b...)?

thanks,
caleb

The 650L is dual-purpose bike: it spends a fair bit of time on solid surface, especially at home where a center stand would surely come in handy. A center stand means a smaller storage footprint as well as straight-up standing while working on bike.

OK put one on. But if you take your own words into play "The 650L is a dual purpose bike" why would you limit yourself to a centerstand. Unless there is a way to have both.
