EPA wants to shut down St.Joe Park

this is no joke. the epa has decided that the sand flats (they are really mining left overs) are unsafe. they have lowered their allowed lead levels to numbers never used before (thanks to the greenies) and will use those same numbers to shut down the riding area if we don't make a bunch of noise. i type too slow to give all the addresses and stuff here. someone has done that work for me.

look, i'm not saying lead is safe. the park employees are tested several times a year and have never shown elevated lead levels. the sand in the riding area is the left over tailings (or chat ) from the lead processing plant. there are not little grey blobs of lead laying around. some of these tailings have been processed three and four times. would i eat it? no. am i affraid to ride (and crash) on it? hell no.
