I need to replace the chain slider (rubber strip that wraps around the front of the swingarm) on my XR650L. The best deal I've found for the OEM part is $28.61 from Service Honda. I haven't been able to find ANY aftermarket options for this part. I figured that surely Moose, UFO, Acerbis or SOMEBODY would offer a cheaper/better alternative to OEM, but I can't anything for the XR-L. Plenty of stuff for CRF's, but nothing for XR's. Do any of you know of anyone selling these - or is OEM my only option?

Thanks. Actually, I tried searching the Thumper Talk store but came up empty. I guess I need to refine my search skills. :ride:

Those look decent (and claim to be better than OEM), but cost as much as OEM! Actually, considering that shipping is free from Service Honda (on orders of $25 or more), the OEM part is cheaper than both of those - even after the TT discount. That's crazy!

Q: Why does a lousy strip of polyurethane have to cost $30?
A: Because they have it and I need it.
