BAD NEWS<<<<<<<<
Well, I got checked out yesterday. Turns out I have 3 fractured ribs. As an injury this one is a little bit more of a pain since affects my breathing and sleep.
GOOD NEWS<<<<<<<<
I picked up my CANNONDALE E440 yesterday and took it for just a little break in put up behind my house! It will be a little while before I can really ride at the level I look forward to.
IMPORTANT<<<<<<<<
Since I will be doing so many updates as my friends and I put these bikes through the reliability test I have decided to set up and "Auto-Responder System" to simplify the process of getting the info out.
All you'll have to do is send an email to the address I'll give you and you'll automatically receive every single new piece of info I write about on these bikes as we put more and more hours and stress on them. I should have this system set up and the special address by tomorrow.
Until then I all I can tell you is that the power on the bike is so smoothe it's extremely deceiving. Coming off a 650R(and being 6'4" 220lbs) almost everything under 600cc's feels like a moped to me!
Last night when I took the CANNONDALE E440 for a spin I was shocked how fast it would get up to speed. THe power is so smooth it's really deceiving! ALmost instantly I'd run out of gears and go "DAMN!" as I looked down at the Panoram and it would read 80 miles an hour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm so use to riding the 650R that anything without the torque of a john deer tractor feels slow to me even though it's not!
The bike steers and feels super light yet stable. When I got home I looked at the engineering of it and discovered exactly why! I'll share this tomorrow in the updates since I've gotta run. Thanks.
