Looking for opinions re: Cannondale color choices?

Personally, I would choose the black/silver color scheme over all other colors. It looks stealth and has some style. Anyone else have an opinion?

I love the colors that Cannondale is using. They are deffinetly some of the sweetest looking bikes out there. :)

I really like the existing colors. I would go with a silver metal flake over the current metalic silver if I were to change anything. It kind of reminds me of the new harley v-rod. Another "exotic" that I really like alot. I know, I know, alot of Harley people don't like it, but thems my opinions and we all know about opinions!

As far as I know, Cannondale lists only one color available, silver.

Personally I thought the yellow XC and Blue EC bikes from last year (though they never made production) were much better looking. Silver/Black/Grey aren't truly colors and I think they make the bike's look too monotone. Some color would enhance the bikes and make them look lighter in my opinion. I also think their current color scheme is very cold.

Still they are one cool bike and if they just weren't so pricey . . .

the bike should come in 3 colors:

RED, WHITE and BLUE

red front fender, white shrouds, blue rear fender
or even better would be red anodized forks and 3clamp, blue anodized swing arm along with the plastic.

now that would be AWESOME!

Pricey? Compared to what?

Cycra makes the plastic for 'Dale. Call them and see if any other colors are possible. If enough of us are interested in the same colors, they might make a special run. :)

I am looking at out the door cost. I am certain I can get a new Husky 450 out the door for $7,000. The local Cannondale dealer wants $585 for freight and assembly plus full list price and sales tax. That works out to about $8.600. This $1,600 difference is what I mean by pricey. Granted a new TM is more money and the new Vertemati's sell for $9,500. My only real comparison was to a Husky 450 which is probably a very comparable rider overall.

I would still like a Cannondale though.

Greg, find a different dealer. There are plenty out there that are willing to deal. Mine only charged me $185 for shipping/prep and then did a 3 hour prep! Even if you have to deal out of state the shipping cost is just $200. Plus you save on the sales tax.

My dealer nocked $500 of the list price of $5,595 and only charged a $199 freight and prep charge. I agree, go find another dealer. Most will take $500 of list for the C'dale. :)

guys with all the problems of the past I'd be shocked if you couldn't find a dealer who is willing to deal off of list on the new Dales...

they've got a lot of catching up to do before the credibility returns....granted based on a few riders here that things(fingers & toes crossed) appear headed in the right direction but I hardly think that wipes all the blemishes off the shine of the Dale....

look around & you shall be rewarded I'm sure!
