I just took a look at the Iowa OHV site and it looks like RV is reopened. I'm still planning on Union tomorrow, possible riding Sunday afternoon, and planning on RV on Monday (giving it a couple more days to dry out a bit.) At least, that's how it's shaping up right now.

Plan on about a 9am arrival at Union tomorrow and the same time (or so) on Monday at RV.

Hope to see you guys...

I am up for Union tomorrow :applause:

Installed a 48 pilot jet last night, so hopefully a little more crisp throttle respone on lower end, and raised clip to top position on needle jet, hopefully no more poping plugs.

Still working on bleeding brakes, left a zip tye around front brake lever and grip to compress overnight to hopefully work any other air out....:banghead:

Maybe I'll make it out Monday.

Oh well, back to cleaning the carpets. :banghead:

Change of plans for us. Afternoon family plans for tomorrow are off, so we'll be showing up at RV around noon. It'll be hot, but it should still be fun. Hope to see you guys out there. :ride:

Just installed a new T-4 Pro Circuit Exhaust on my TTR, now I need to rejet. I'm hoping with this mod I can be 1/2 as fast as you guys. Will try to make it to RV today.

Have fun and be safe :ride:

Cubfan - good to see you today. Sorry we met you on your way out. Pipe looks great. I'm sure it'll run like a deer when you're done.

Couple pics from RV today:

A new little jump they made. Landing is flat and can jar you a bit, but was fun.

Got a little behind on this one, but was able to pull it back. It's amazing what tapping the back brake can do.

A little better.

Brad in the "moisture". We were going to get some more pics, but he ran out of gas, went to reserve, went back to the truck to fill up, but decided he'd had it for the day.

Missed you guys who weren't there. Flats were a desert, trails were pretty wet. Still had a pretty fun day.

I rode trails with the guys I know from the Norfolk area on Sunday. They have a place on private property, about 200 acres near the Elkhorn River. All SUPER tight stuff in trees and constant up-down. My Husky is even too much bike for this stuff, too tall seat and tall geared even at 13/50. Most of these guys ride TTR250's like Rod's, XR250R, plus some cool hybrids like a CR125 frame with a XR200 motor, also a TTR125L with a bunch of BBR bling on it.
I was wishin I was on an XR100
This place is 145 miles away, so I'm sure some of the other Iowa OHV parks are closer. Nice to not have to worry about any quads though:ride:

Sweet pics Mark! If I ever get that much air, someone start dialing 911 before I land:eek:

Thanks for the comments guys. I really have enjoyed getting into the "jumping" thing. I've had a couple mishaps, but nothing to bad. I know my day is coming. I guess I'll just keep doing it until I can't.

As far as the mud, we have a power sprayer and we're living on a hill right now and there's no neighbors down from us, so it's pretty convenient. Took about 2.5 hours to clean the bikes...but it's worth it!

Mike - sounds like those trails are a$$ kickers. Looks to have been a great time albeit frustrating. Also sounds like those bikes could fit into the "robo-bike" class...all kinds of stuff put together.

I can't get enough. When I'm not riding, I'm thinking about riding. I may never have been that great, but I missed out on what "might have been." I REALLY wish I would have gotten into this sport when I was young. I absolutely love this sport. I know life keeps us busy and other circumstances twist their way into our lives, but I don't see how a dirtbike owner could ever "choose" not to ride when they have the time. :excuseme:
