I started my bike and notice that it is back firing a hole lot after a inspection I'd find that I have a 1" 1/2 crack on the head pipe. my question is: it would hurt my bike to ride this weekending also what is a good deal on a stock head pipe, I find a used one for $ 50 plus shipping

IF, and that's a large IF, the hole/crack is large enough to allow enough cold air to reach the valves after shut down you could end up cracking them. You might try an auto parts store. Some of them have kits to fix small cracks in exhaust pipes for cars. With some thinking you might be able to come up with a short term fix till you get a new head pipe.
