Well Tim was a sponsored rider back when he was 15 and also raced snowmobiles plus I'm not sure what all else. He was the fourth part of the epic Skrudland/Wallenberg/Welzien battles back in the 70s in District 16 and 17. Tim has always had serious speed on tap.

"how about my flying pig sucked all my headlight fluid and ate my torque regulator, so I can't compete at the top of my game? that I've been constipated this week"

Hey titanium arm guy, I think I heard that exact baggin excuse last weekend.(above) So I guess they aren't all "canned" excuses.....

By the way, I believed him....

I hurt myself, and I am no longer fast.
I am old and haven't rode in at least 3 months, no longer competitive.
I have an old bike and can't compete with the new ones.
I want to go to LL and am no competitive in my class.
I really don't want to "push" it, so in order to ride "safe" I will race at 80%.
I got beat by a B or C guy last week and if he can ride that class, then i should be able to.
I only ride a few tracks and am not fast on the other ones, that I don't go to.
I got a new bike, and should not have to ride it in that classification since i was moved on a 125/250. So i am not as fast on the bigger bike.
YOu scored me wrong, and I don't have that average. Because I got two dnf's at the last two race which I KNOW brings down my average.
HEY you can't combine, 125 B scores, and 250 B scores, I only raced 5 races in each class that minimum is 6. (today I can't but we used to).
HEY you "Can't" advance me in the 25+ class since it's a "combined class and I ride with A riders, so my average can't be right.
I am 16 and you can't move me, my dad said.
My mom called last week and you said I had to move to B, but I dnf'ed this week so now you can't. (dnf's don't count)
I will come to your track and race the whole series with all my friends, if you don't move me.
How much will it cost me to keep the kid in B, you are going to ruin his life.
He can't compete with those fast guys, he is still a kid.
I going to AMA and you won't be doing this no more.
I called AMA and your not allowed to move my son.
AMA will be notified about your conduct.

YOu plain suck and you don't have the right.

anyway, thats just ones i can remember in the last few minutes.

I am sure there are more. THe more ingenious ones I still remember the dads' and riders and situation. Two in particular........One was a yelling match in front of 30-50 spectators at Walnut. ANd the other was a phone call which today that rider is tuff to beat around here now in A.

:)

Great reply...you if anyone, have probably heard it all. Some of those are priceless....ha

oh yeah, if you move me up to A next year (my current avg is around 15) I'll complain to the President of the United States and you'll be moved to MX District 3,489. (located in Zimbabwe)

It will be interesting to see if Loretta Lynns will still have the +30B class....I mean the 30 A class in sheeps clothing......Kevin Cozadd....

That was an absolute joke. Cozadd came in front of our panel the first time and we soundly refused his request. Evidently he knows someone and or they know him, hence another appeal and they let him go B. I don't like seeing anyone get hurt, but with little competition in the field, he went down and did get hurt i guess. Sometimes things are just meant to be or not to B?

does this mean he stay a B rider for next season???? Hmmm.

It will be interesting to see if the 30B class will even continue to be recognized given the controversies and lack of policing. Talk about baggin'....I bet there were just as many A guys in that class than in the other B clases. If anyone gets bored one day, look at the rider list in 30B and do a search on riders and you'll see that many rode 30A the year prior, even when 30B classes were available. The worst part, many real 30B guys called them out, but, they(MX Sports) could care less. One of the zits in this awesome sport.

damn dude you're like a sandbagger vigilante. I say relax, live a little. That guy actually rides 250b so it was probably a typo.

I raced with this guy at Byron, #110 on a Yamaha. He was so fast it was like he was pro! I think his last name was Hofmaster or something like that...

No real sandbagger sightings. Jim Lyon was racing in the "A" class at Byron.

Guys like Hofmaster or maybe Kyle Corman a couple weeks ago at Walnut in the B class, brings up a good question: What is the definition of a sandbagger?

Hofmaster is pro, yet he hits some local races and is clearly in a class all his own. Kyle Corman beat a top A rider in 14*24, but is still in B class because Suzuki wants him to stay in that class until next year. And then when you have classes like +25A and B at Mendota where sometimes B riders beat A riders...I guess what I'm saying is the line gets blurry sometimes.

are you using my theory ..."if you're faster than me you're a sandbagger"? No, I kinda know what you mean though, if you place top 3-5 in a 125/250A class why do you gotta sweep the +25 class. I know it's an A class but come on have some class have leave it to the more needy. Plus it's not like +25 pays that much anyway. Not to mention some of these +25 guys have pro licences and actually win 125/250A

Exactly. I mean, I can't blame him for winning all the money he can, but c'mon.
