I was wondering if anyone has rode at Big Rock in Maysville, KY. and if so what was it like? Is it comparable to anywhere else? I have never been there but have been wondering about it for years.

If it's close to you, give it a try. I went 2 or 3 times, it's 140 miles for me, same as Perry. It's doesn't compare to Perry.

Compared to Haspin it is;
Only bikes & quads
Some bigger hills, some/most with rocks.
More rocks
Grass open ridge tops where you can get 6th gear
Mostly it's open ridge tops with trails that go down into the valleys and have hills to get back out. If muddy, it can be pretty tough to get out.
Bike wash, like a car wash that takes quarters. Nice touch.
Food stand, never tried it.
No alcohol allowed
Owner takes your money, he is very nice.
They have more rules, good or bad, they have about 20% attendance of Haspin
___________
Between Haspin and Big Rock, I'd choose on distance. Haspin has a little more variety and technical riding (less rocks though).

You need to ride at Perry with me and see the best place short of an Enduro or Dual Sport this area has to offer.

It's about the same distance as Haspin for me. I used to live about 40 miuntes from thers and still never went. I'd like to check it out sometime if anyone eve goes down there. It sounds like it would be an okay place........

I really want to go to Perry with you guys! I can't take off work right now or I'd go there Friday with you and Chuck. I can ride Saturday until about 2:00 and Monday (Labor Day) all day. Hopefully I'll find somebody to ride with then at Haspin or I'll have to ride at a local track somewhere. Have fun at Perry!

Let me know what you plan. I haven't been to Haspin in awhile, and never to Big Rock. Or we could hit some tracks. I can't get a Friday off either:excuseme: By the way, I like this 756 front. First lap it was all over the place, and rode like a pogo stick. I stopped at the truck to check the pressure, and sure enough it was at 22psi. Aired it down to 12psi, and all was good. No good berms at Hollow to really try laying it over, but it stuck good when I pushed the inside lines.

I think it's going to be mine too, Dale. I'm eager to ride somewhere where I can push the limits of it's traction. HH was so dry, it was hard to get a real "feel" for it. Although, I never lost traction in the "moon dust" that was everywhere. I think a good woods ride is in order, to test it in some softer, moister soil. Yeah, a test ride. I think I'll use that....................
