Marty called me back. He drove by it today and..in his words: "It's pretty F'n muddy out there..." He said to hold on to hope. He's gonna actually go in to the track tomorrow morning and see. He said to give him a call.

So, we got a few options:

1. Sit home with thumb up a$$ (Could be fun depending on the size of your thumb.)
2. Stay home and work on honey-do list (definite no-no...why do today what you can put off until retirement ) :thumbsdn:
3. Take a chance, go out there, and have a muddy-a$$, practically unrideable day :bonk:
4. Take a chance, go out there, and maybe...just maybe...enjoy the hell out of it! :excuseme:

What say you guys?

I'm voting number 4. With what appears to be a lack of rain today, they only had around 3 to 4 inches this week. IIRC, the first time I went out it had rained over 5 inches in one day earlier that week and it was just fine.

I'm voting to go for it. I sent you a Private Message with my phone number, feel free to give me a call. Otherwise, if your in, let me know what time your gonna be there and I'll see you there.

MMM and I are in! Haven't talked to Marty since my earlier post, but we're just going to bite the bullet and go. Greenguy (Bill) may join us also. Bpin...hope to see ya! C'mon all you Omaha area lurkers and trolls...don't be a bunch of sphincters! Get out there with us...mud or not! We're looking at about an 8:30am show up time.

Sphincter.... Sphincter who are you calling a sphincter? Now you got me mad.

I would like to go mud or not if anything just to do some bench racing with some fellow Rut Riders. I have some extended family issues we are working on at the time so I'm out.

Be safe and have fun. :ride:

Well, I don't mean to rub it in... but I will! :p You guys missed some really good riding. A little slick in a few spots early but after a few laps and some sun drying, the track was great. :applause:

I even started clearing the step-up for the first time. Thanks to Mark for snapping a few shots.

Matt said it! You guys sure missed out. Same report here...just a few snotty areas that cleaned up real quick and real good. We were the only two there. Had the whole place to ourselves and the weather was great. Sorry you guys couldn't make it (sphincters! :p )

Nice riding Matt. It was good to see you woop up on that uphill (and everywhere else.) Good time today.

that step up is nasty!!!!
it's just plain dangerous. I've seen a couple guys get knocked out trying to clear it.
I go on the left side to clear it but i've never seen in with so many ruts. Marty needs to do some major refacing on the track. Other than that its a fun track, (maybe a little wider though)
