I have a XR650L and the tires I am looking at getting are...

-D606's
-MEFO Knobbies
or
-MEFO Explorers

I've seen alot of opinions on the D606's and Explorers, but not much on the MEFO Knobbies.

Anyone have experience with MEFO Knobbies?

love the mt21 pirellis i have now, but worn out in less than 1000 miles from road riding. these mefos are supposedly the ones that are used by the cross continent(or whatever they are called) race team.

According to their website the knobbies only come in a 17" rear tire size.

No experience with the mefo's yet,but heard some good things about them on ADV rider. I'm running Conti TKC's now and there excellent on road and off.

Most likely they have the knobbies in 18" also because they don't list the explorers in 18" but do have them in 120/130 size.

They really should update their website.

Think I will try the MEFO Knobbies if I can get my hands on some. If I can't get em within a month, I'll have to go a different route. Conti TKC's?, gonna check them out right now.
