so if no more 85's with the big bikes then is that gonna mean another class before the big bikes which will delay us even longer??

no there was a few kids that were racing 85s in the 86-200 class. Trying to get experience for next season with the big boys.

yea mark, it has to be that way. I had about 3-5 calls' & e mails after the last race. they (riders) were concerned for their safety and told some scary stuff that was going on out there. So we just cant. Last year that fast kid did it, but he was one rider who won all the time. not that it was anymore legal, but last race we had what 4 of them out there? My kid is already bustin my butt so he can do it next year.....only way is to buy him another dam bike.......that aint happening he has friggin 3 now. a 105, 100, 150 all would be "legal" in the big class.

Gee dad, you can never have too many bikes. Your going to be old and slow next year. Time to hand it up, don't you know your to old to be racing, you would think at your age you would know better. You could just be like all the other dads that watch and yell at their kid.

:p :p :p

Sounds like time to put on a paddle tire to try to hydroplane the whole way.

I will be hooking up a propeller on all our bikes and I don`t think there is gonna be any kids that wanna race with the bigbikes this week anyways. And take it easy on Egdums, he doesn`t like when I make old-guy jokes about him.

actually it may rain a little tonight, but it will be fine. we have a nice layout to do and should be good. spent the afternoon today going over the direction and good and bad spots. most of it is hard pan and actually pretty dry. The hills were all ridable today, the bottoms were sketchy, but a good day to dry and a nice day sunday will be a good race day.

Well a bit dissapointed with the results. I had a great start into the woods and a bunch of us missed the first checkpiont and I ended up 9th in Big C. Sucks but O well. Really hurts when chasing points!

There are some photos posted up on Midwest racing from yesterdays race results will be later.

C class both lines took a "right instead of a "left" and made that group have an interesting trip through the woods. It looked to be all iron out as they almost ALL did the same thing. Glad they only use 18 races out of a total count so when point chasing you can "throw out" a bad one! LOL I have a few I need to "throw" for sure!! (like Brush Poppers this spring!)

yup i was in the middle of the c group that missed the turn!! didnt see the marker and everyone else was goin straight too. i remember him sayin in the riders meeting the first lap would be really short and when we missed that turn i was wondering and then when we went through the creek and up the hill into the west part of the park i knew we all made a huge mistake lol. i had a bad day too tire was pretty much almost flat halfway through the race but kept goin and i got stuck in the one spot by the main trail(where they got pics up of) and about 3 guys had to pull me out so i was stuck there for like 5 mins and it just was not a good day at all haha but oh well

And notice how Travis is smarter then ol' dad and is staying on higher ground :smirk: (at least I think that's Travis in the red MSR gear)

it was kinda funny how travis is always right in the middle of it watching this stuff. I was looking to make sure another rider didn't go around me on the "wrong side', as this rider did we are pulling out. Jack Revallo's bike pictured here, almost took my arm off going to the "wrong" side of me to get into this mess! He is a 40 A rider to boot, but we got him out and going, it took the quad and a few more bodys to unstick this KTM.

Hats off to FVOR for providing a great course yesterday. Considering all the rain we`ve had, it was a nice layout. Thats picture is about the only section of mud we ran through all day. Oh and the creek bed too, but thats a given at FVOR.
