600R wants to die under hard deceleration

What causes a tendency for my 600R to want to die under hard decel?

We're talking on the street clutch disengaged tire sqweeling decel.

Obviously a carb issue but what?

Floats are not right, not enough gas staying in the bowl. They might be too low for some reason. Or did you take the carb apart and forgot to put the white splash guard back in ??

if you can't get the carb right let me know i have a carb off my 97 that is like new and works fawlessly and has been jetted for after market exhaust if your interested

Thanks. The baffle is in and the jetting is good. The float thing makes sense. I'll raise them.
