I think your trying to dual sport your bike right? you can buy a dual sport kit from bajadesigns .com their kit will do what you want . but is a little pricey .I'm making my own wiring harness to make 2007 street legal , but it would be much easier to just buy on and bolt it all up

No, in Portugal (and here in NZ) the WRs come already dual-sported. What 2005eulerr is trying to do is remove all the unnecessary lights and wiring. Unfortunately I don't know how to remove all the wiring but just wanted to clear up what he's actually trying to do ?.

:applause: According to you, once I saw a switch comand, very small on a KTM, I think it is a better solution, in case of a very tricky removal wires.

My old one wr400f just turns the lights on/off, I would like my new wr450 2007, just do that nothing more... because I could'nt access the carburator because of these cables, on chasis. And I can judge it is for sure these cables that I am talking.

Here in Portugal, yamaha selled two models, one designed for italian, german market, among others, with these complement dual sport( mirrors, turn signals, horn, stop brake lights, min/max headlight, as my bike has. And we have the sportive one, just headlight and tailight, both has license plate and street legal, like my old one.

What's the riscs to follow these cables and to get out, as I said is separated on chasis, sounds like they have put them after the assembly the necessary cables ( sportive one) and after the street legal ( dual sport one).

thanks!
