Picked up my new DRZ (kickstart) yesterday, and went for a totally unbelievable ride today. Coming off my XR600, I was totally taken by surprise that riding could be this fun. I can't believe this bike. Smooth shifting, EASY starting, and the handling...This bike is like a dream. I was actually laughing while riding it; it was so much fun. This will be the bike of the 2000's. I have no doubt about it. Thanks for the input people gave!!!

Damage...I take it you liked the drz. :)I know what your talking about.This is the first bike ive owned were I smile not because its new,but because its so darn GREAT.

my damned transmission is STILL notchy, especially from 2nd to 3rd. i'm gonna try synthetic oil to see if it helps.

Mrbillz...Same here,Its even harder with new riding boots that seem to be to thick to get under the shift lever easily.Im going to try the full synthetic next oil change also.
