Yoshimura will be developing motor and also race preparing other elements for the DRZ400. The early stages of development have this bike churning out around 50 HP. The stock DRZ 400 is really light (249 lbs). The weight of the full race version will be "feather" light through the extensive use of composites, titanium, and magnesium components.

Yoshimura already has the exhaust pipes done for the DRZ. The Pro model (constructed entirely of titanium) weighs in at 5.4 pounds total. We of course also offer the "Race" system (Ti/Stainless), and the "Std." System (Stainless/Alloy). Basically all budgets and needs are accounted for.

As the racing development goes forward all kinds of products are being born. So far here's the list to date:

Yoshimura Titanium sub-frame Pricey but light
Yoshimura MJN carburetor kit. This is an awesome improvement over stock!
Yoshimura Triple Clamps Light and strong
Yoshimura Racing Ignition Yoshimura Cams Fujio (Yoshimura is building some killer stuff at Yoshimura Japan!)
Yoshimura Ti valves/springs All the basic Superbike stuff. Top-secret engine goodies to be announced with time.
