Raised the needle, wow!!

Modified the exhast cap baffle
removed the airbox restrictor
jetted to 165 main,
2 turns out on fuel mixture screw
didn't want to really raise the needle
(dropped the clip one position) thinking
it really wouldn't do that much.WRONG
Man what a difference in low and mid range
much quicker out of the hole.
if you've took the air restrictor out
make sure to change the needle clip position

So borsy,

what altitude are you running at?

And, what is your clip position now (I'm not sure what stock is on the DRZ)

i run at 400ft and did the same mods, except for the main jet change. i've heard of main jet changes up to a 175, however.

Running at 600 ft above sea level
clip pos. is 5th down from top.
stock is 4th

I'm at 1000 ft should I move my needle and to what position?I have alresdy installed the 165 main and yosh pipe and yes 2 turns out on the air screw any advice?????
