Has anyone done or thinking about suspension work? I was wondering if RaceTech, A-Loop or Eibach have gotten results or fixes in the works? The stuff we ride, here in Colorado, will certainly require more/thicker fork oil.

Hi Jake.
Cary suffered from some severe suspension bottoming on his new DRZ in western Colorado. I'm sure he'll upgrade and tell us all how it works, how much it cost, and other details?

Of course, Bryan doesn't tell you that I am the "mack daddy" of riding into to a whoop section at warp 9. smashed my nards.

i'm experimenting with adding oil to the forks to help with bottoming resistance. i'll keep you posted.
yeah i think a revalve and springs will be needed for OPEN riding alond with adding a link or 2 to the chain to lengthen the wheelbase.

ok. i'm up to 15ml more fork oil in each fork leg. it does help bottoming a great deal, without losing any plushness. i still managed to bottom the fork on a 20ft jump, though...... this is fine for me as i do not plan to MX this bike.

i'd start with about 10ml 5wt oil in each fork leg and see how well it feels to you.

I'm a heavier guy (225lb) and went with Race Tech .48 Kg fork springs and 7 Wt oil. ($160 installed) Also a 5.7 Kg Race tech Rear spring ($105 did the install myself). Made a HUGE difference in the whoops and on the track!!!
