My freind John has a new DRZ400 dirtmodel (with the button) We've been trailriding twice (at Gorman) me with my 99 WR400F amd he on the DRZ. Im impressed with the Suzuki and he loves it. It handles the tight stuff very well, it quick and flickable. The only semi negative things he has said is that its sprung soft for him (hes probably 225lbs with gear) and that it feels nervous on big sand whoops. It sits lower than the WR and its power seems more usable in stock form it seems more woods type rider freindly :).

Next time we go Ill ride it(it will be broken in by then) and I'll share my experience. I think Suzuki may have hit the mark with this one. Oh and that headpipe looks heinous he gotta get a exhaust system.

Yep I think so too :) Doesn't quite have the outright power of your beast but nice and useable. The (relatively) soft springs are a common complaint and easy to fix. :D
