What kind of tires do you like?

Recommended Posts

If you want a tire that grips like rubber cement in the corners, go with Dunlop D755 front.

I used to like the 752's, but dont you find that the side lugs rip off easily?

Mabye its just the terrain of where I ride.

De'javue my 755 tire experience had me tearing off the knobs. ? Sure do like the looks of it though man does it look meaty :D Haven't torn any knobs off of the 752's yet, did have a sidewall start to split after having to ride 30 miles back to the truck on a front flat up in Shasta. I have had good luck with grip and wear with the IRC IXO7S(soft to intermediate) for a front tire and a Michelin M12 rear. Both have held up great through two enduro's and two extended trail rides in Colorado and Black Hills SD. No chunking in the rocks with either tire, and the grip of the IRC in my opinion is excellent.

Lost of loose terrain riding in New Mexico. Sand, loose dirt and rocks. . .I use the Dunlop 756 front and rear. Most excellent tire. Carves nicely in the sand, and really grips in the loose dirt. Holds pretty well in the hard pack too. . . .doesn't tear knobs off.

Shinko "Holeshot" tires, intermediate terrain, front and rear. They are basically Yokohamas made in korea, great quality, cheaper labor rate = great value. They are MUCH less expensive than dunlop 755/756's I pay 35.00 front 45.00 rear, and they dont chunk the side knobs, they stick like glue!

I agree with Matt Poritt.

I bought a set of S -12 Michilen for riding in Michigan they work great. I was a Dunlope man until these tires.
