Want XR600 1993 to look like 2000 Model

Ok, I've reached the end of the W.W.Web ! and can't find answers: Would XR600 2000(YR) plastics fit my 1993 model ? Do Clarke red tanks match OEM 'fighting red' color ? Which do u prefer Clarke or IMS ? DO Maier or UFO red fenders match Clarke's Red Tank perfectly? Need red hand guards too? Ok, enough questions Any info appreciated for my project !

the 2000 plastics should be the same as the 93. when you start mixing manufacturers, the colors dont mix! or match! stay away from maier, poor quality plastic. best bet go with ufo or acerbis, and use xr 400 or crf replacement fenders. just my opinoin from trying stuff on my xrl.

Will a stock XR400 rear fender fit a 94 XR600?

I dont really know for sure. I DO know that a crf450 fender fits with some cutting. I would THINK the xr400 rear fender would be even easier to mod to fit.

funny...i decided last night that i was gonna go the opposite direction with my 05. can't get black sidepanels for my bike so i'm goin all white! i think it'll be cool. good luck on goin red:thumbsup:

My favorite one is the IMS. Looks the best IMHO, and comes in red. Not sure how close though.

UFO has a higher quality plastic.

this is the other reason i'm going white. i saw that clarke makes a black tank but i just don't like the way they look. too round i think.

also, ripemango, if your white headlight plastic is in good condition i'll trade you for my red. just a thought.

Go OEM on the 2000 XR600 tank it fits MUCH better and looks better than any of the after market stuff. Service Honda has good prices on OEM Honda parts
