Will this get rid of the off idle bog. I need better throttle response. If I disconnect the grey wire, is there anything else that must be done along with it to make her run right. I'm under the impression the cut throttle stop is only an option, not a must do.
So should I do it and will it cure the bog and my blues?

NO - the grey wire mod will not help with your bog issue.
You must jet your bike properly.
Check the stickies for advice.
