Best wife ever!!!

Recommended Posts

Hi,I just stumbled across this forum because for Fathers day my wife and kids presented me with a brand new 2000 WR400f. I totally flipped. I have been riding a 1982 CAN-AM 250 for last 18 years, what a change. My wife got the dealer to deliver the bike at6:00 am and start it just outside our bedroom window! boy was I suprised. So like any other committed(or is that should be committed)rider, I broke it in and did the first oil change by 9:00 am and loaded up the whole family for Tahuya and promptly put about 50 miles on the bike. WOW!!!

Sounds like you got a real keeper, I have enough trouble trying to get my girlfriend to even wash mine yet alone buy me a new one....

I think if my wife bought me a bike out of the blue, I'd probably cry w/ happiness!

Jumping from a Can Am to a WR, I'd cry harder!! How in the world did you keep that bike up, parts wise??

Feel lucky my friend. You have a fantastic wife!!

Rick,

Any chance of you joining us in Moab Oct. 7-8? If so, maybe you could bring your wife, and she could put on a seminar or something for the other wives/girlfriends that will be patiently awaiting our returns... ?

Freeze,

THAT IS AN EXCELLENT IDEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A seminar...If you could develop a training plan, a new concept could spread all over the world. All we need is some info-mercials, a little financial backing, some eager instructors and we'd be set.

Just think...A NEW WORLD OF THINKING!

I don't know about you, but I am overwhelmed!

I'm sorry the wife has proven once again why I picked her, she is not for sale. Moab sounds like a great time but just to be a nice guy I booked a week on Kauai for that same time to show her how much I liked her present...bad timing I guess. I do on the otherhand have a pretty nice evolution bike for sale.

Rick What are you feeding her? Is this just a whim or is this the everyday norm? That's too cool ? that she thought that much of you but, if the bike was about $5600-$6000 dollars ... I can just imagine what she wants for her birthday :D Anyway welcome to our sick group of guys that will give there employers any excuse just to play hooky and roost their buddies.

wr400_jay,

Not only did I have to do the vacation thing, she conned me into a new car over last weekend! MAN this is one exspensive bike! I dont think the seminars or infomercials would help out any of you guys as she would teach your wives and girlfriends how to break your accounts as well. Her cost $5600.00 My cost, vacation $3500.00 New car $16,000.00 It really hurts to do the math. I guess it's the thought that counts.

Hey! Good for your wife! I am another proud wife that just surprised my husband with a WR400F! He was so excited, as were the kids. I just got sick of him riding my TTR125L and so I called the dealer and told them I was on my way down. I surprised him at work and he was shocked. Didn't think I would get it for him. He's wanted it for months! Now thw whole family has bikes, minus the baby. I love the idea of riding as a family. Good Luck to all others.
