07yz450f tranny maybe a problem?

ok so im out riding on some forestry roads heading to the trails and me and a bud are going though the gears after turns. all of a sudden click my bike into 4th. goes for about 2 quick seconds of power delivery then CLingk! goes into 5th kinda like an automatic tranny.

did i not yank on the shifter hard enough or what? its happened a few times now

im getting scared :S

Are you sure you're keeping your boot clear of the shifter after you upshift? :excuseme:

One of the things I first noticed about my '06 was that it shifted so much easier than my '03 that I would shift it accidentally before I meant to. Slowmo could have something.
