Clutch cable on my '03 450 packed 'er in today. Was it the '04s that were rerouted and easier to pull? Is it a simple swap of cables or do I need other parts like clamps etc? Thanks .

You'll need a new:
cable anchor, 5XD-15441-00-00,
actuator arm, 5XD-16381-00-00
spring, 90508-12007-00
seat plate, 5TA-16384-01-00

...to make the conversion, along with the '04 cable, 5HD-26342-00-00

but the 04s were an easier pull? what about 05s any different? i would like to lighten up my clutch since i have the HDsprings

i just cant see how a clutch cable could make the pull easier
