I'm interested (thinking about it) in putting a Baja Design (think that's what this is?) tail light set up like on the bike in this pic and am hoping someone would take 2 shots, one of tailight on at night and one of tail & brake light on.

I want to compare how bright it is to the stock set up.

Pic's were taken about 3-4' away.

Also, :excuseme: does the Baja one iluminate the plate what so ever ?

Unless you have a digital camera that can control exposition and set it to a preset level, the pictures will look more or less identical since the camera will adjust the exposition to the light level.
I've tried something similar to compare headlights some time ago and the difference on the picture was way less than the one I could observe by eye.

I just picked up one of those LED replacement bulbs for my XR (1157 bulb) It is running & brake lamp. Nice, bright light, and is supposed to last a lot longer than incandescent bulbs (which I used to blow out all the time). Only 9.99 at your local Pep Boys

Thanks White man, I saw that before.

I REALLY STILL would like to see one at night even if it isn't totaly accurate in brightness.

I don't want one any LESS bright then the stock unit.

Come on, some one can give me a couple night shots, after all, it is a LIGHT.

What do ya say Whiteman :excuseme: night shots please?

BD's under fender led rear brake set up. Photos shot in a dark garage. Very clean, not problems yet, but you will have to change the rear fender- it will give your bike look a more modern look

I'm 6'4" and found it very easy to throw the leg over & not kick. It was actually harder to do with the stock light.

I like the LED version better. Less juice and more light.

I bought Light #1 & plate #6 & wiring harness #9

#6 under the plate, used old bolts from stock plate & light (blue locktite on all bolts)
#9 I took off my seat and told the guy what I saw....and I can't remember....lol

In case you were all looking for MORE light...

A bit costly, but surely one that lasts and is seriously more bright than anything you'd buy offered online or in any store;
