wrench size

Since I don't have access to my bike right now, can someone tell me the wrench size for the nut on the front axle/ is it 17mm??

Paul,

The hex hole on one side of the front axle is a 17mm. I did not remove the plastic brake line cover on the other side though.

On my 426 it is a 22mm.

Paul,

I went out and measured mine with a cheapo micrometer and got 22mm. I had to place an order today with Baja Designs, and since I've been wanting a rider wrench anyway, asked them if they had one in a 27mm/22mm version for both axles. Sure enough they did ($16.95).
