Question: Kick lever sticking please advise.

When I kick the bike over, the lever sticks all the way down. It makes that little "grinding noise" until I can un-stick it w/ my hand or boot. Problem? If so what could it be? Oh and it's a 99 400f

my 01 426 did that for a while too, it eventually wears off the more you kick buuut if ur impatient u can grind off part of ur kickstarter so it doesnt catch on ur footpeg? lol

Ya know, it does stick right there by the foot peg. Just noticed it today while I was out in the boonies and stalled. I'll look harder when it happens again but I've been kicking the bike the same way for 'bout a year and a half now and it's never happened. Thanks. I'm a bit panicky when it comes to my bike. I hope it's nothing.?
