When I kick the bike over, the lever sticks all the way down. It makes that little "grinding noise" until I can un-stick it w/ my hand or boot. Problem? If so what could it be? Oh and it's a 99 400f

Ya know, it does stick right there by the foot peg. Just noticed it today while I was out in the boonies and stalled. I'll look harder when it happens again but I've been kicking the bike the same way for 'bout a year and a half now and it's never happened. Thanks. I'm a bit panicky when it comes to my bike. I hope it's nothing.
