g'day,has anyone had any dramas after fitting "press release" air bleeders instead of the original screw type?

The lefthand side one works fine, after a good ride I press the button and hear a short hiss i.e. built up pressure is released.

The righthand one though never has any excess pressure, is this because the bleeder is leaking?

Or are the fork characteristics to blame? Perhaps the right fork is working well & not building any pressure while the left is rooted.

Mine is the exact opposite. My right one gives a hiss and the left does nothing. I've been wondering if I have a problem in my left fork.

i have found those fork bleeders tend to leak try refitting the origanal bleed screws and then check for air after a ride this way u can tell if there is a problem with fork

when fitting them don't do them up tight ot the o-ring distorts and will cause leaking.

Both of mine work fine.

Hi mate.Both of mine work fine,but my mates are crap and now he cant get them undone(maybe he over tightened them?) anyway that was the 2nd set from the same place,china specials i suspect.Another mate is buying us made ones.?

I got mine from Ballards & both work fine. Maybe you have a dodgy one.
