Finished mounting my Vapor. Reattached my license plate that shook loose on my last ride. Kicked my flat rear tire, needs a tube. Need to get a few spares to go with my new Parker DT rear.

When out for a spin. Gained over 5000 feet in five miles, great way to start a 100 mile day .

I rode her hard in 100 degree heat and she took it like a pornstar. Locked up the little bitch to her ttr125 sister in the shed and slammed the door!

Got 4 tickets
no reg.
no inspection
no insurance
no license (only a permit)

nice isnt it? talked to my lawyer and she said just put it on the road so you have proof of everything and get your license before the court date and they will drop it. pain in the ass really. BUT i ordered a baja designs on road kit! can't wait to get everything together

In CA you can ride with a MC permit just not at night, no freeways and no passengers. It it the same in NY?

Since buying new 07 Wr450 last year, I have installed:

Probend Cycra handguards attached to triple clamp
Flatland racing aluminum skid plate and rad guards
changed out all blue plastic for all white plastic
3.1gal IMS tank au natural with YZ shrouds
adjustable fuel screw
Factory effex seat cover
stainless steel oil filter
removed pea shooter
removed airbox snorkel

I am getting it ready for Baja as well this winter. Planning to change out the following:

new tires, Maxxix Desert IT
tubes, Bridgestone ultra heavy duty 4mm
Primary drive chain and sprockets

any other suggestions....??

Damn!! Already? It was just getting broken in :excuseme:

What was the total mileage and how did it run? Valve adjustments?

Hey Aaron, I want to do THAT "mod" that you did to your old one that you're probably going to do to your new one. I've realized I'd like my bike better with that mod.

Let me know how it goes:thumbsup:
