Created my own battery because I was tired of the OEM crap. I also didn't like other li-ion packs available on the market so I just made my own. This pack is actually 2 indepent batteries packaged as one. So if one dies on the trail all I have to do is switch the quick disconnects and I have a new battery. Ignore the small wires....those are the balance charging leads that I didn't have plugs on yet at the time of the picture. The cranking different between this is stock is very different; with the OEM battery being much more sluggish. Rightfully so since this is double the cranking amps lol. Unfortunately I couldn't easily find small quantities of black shrink tube so I had to settle for green. I didn't quite need 1000 yards of black tubing. I really could have just made a single 4 cell battery that was 1/3 of the size and still had plenty of cranking amps for my WR450. But I wanted a backup battery option.
130CCA & 6.3 Ah
8 cell 240CCA & 5.0Ah primary......4 cell 120CCA & 2.5Ah spare. It's around 1.75 lbs, but I haven't measured it yet.
