Plastidip wheels, 3M wrap for the frame and front plate/Headlight..

What is the "3m wrap" that you used on the frames?

It is material made by 3M that they use to wrap vehicles and such...You purchase it from many places but I get mine on Ebay...All you need is a heat gun, the materail and some patience. ..The material is very forgiving. ..Just search for it on Youtube....

Ha ha, I use speed shine on my bikes , its made by Griots Garage, (http://www.griotsgarage.com/home.do?code=PPC06&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=1VN+Brand&utm_term=griot's%20garage&utm_content=Brand)

but I bought the bike used and replaced all plastics, decals ext and then cleaned it up before doing all my modifications.

I like the YZF front fender, didn't think I would when I first installed it, but now that it is on, I like it. What do ya'll think of the YZF front fender?

That is the "Restyle" Cycra front fender for the YZ 2strokes. The hole pattern is perfect for all WR's prior to 2012.

Do you have a part number or a link , I cant seem to find it.

you can use the 2010+ yz250f and yz450f fender. You just have to oval out the holes inward then put the metal spacer/inserts into the new fender.

I added a little fuel range.

Mounting the petcocks with the little lag bolts was kind of a let down but I should be ok. I smeared Permatex gasket sealer on them before snugging them down.

The Seat Concepts kit will be here Monday. Got one for the KLR too.

Yesterday I decided to heed some advice I read in some other post regarding the fuel line provided by Acerbis.
Posted Image
I think some said to route the cross over line above the intake boot but I can't figure out any advantage to that. If someone would care to clarify I'm all ears.

In the late afternoon I headed out into the mid 90* F heat for 70 mile dual sport ride. I ended up playing around at the 7-mile ORV park for a while. I's not a favorite place of mine but does have lots of loose sand and silt beds which is good for riding practice on unstable surfaces.

I can't wait for that Seat Concepts kit to show up. I really hope it helps on the long pavement stretches. Even with the Walmart ATV seat pad my butt was killing me by the time I got home.

My 2006 - New graphics, 2012 fender, 2009 front shroud with Zeta headlight eliminator, speedo eliminator, Cycra handguards, new seat, FMF Powercore, new springs, revalved suspension and Flexx handlebars mounted on BRP rubber mount triple clamps with Scotts damper. Feels like a new bike.

I've been looking at the FMF Powercore 4 lately, Whats It like for loudness, compared to stock? On a scale of 1 to 10 maybe? comparing stock and the FMF?
Thanks!
