^were the wheel bearings new-ish?

Yeah wheel bearing took a crap. On a 11 month old RAD cush hub.

Felt good and tight before the race, so I don't know. Must have been a faulty bearing from the factory.

Probably didn't help that I was slamming whoops and rocks in 4th gear pinned on flat tires and bottoming out the suspension a lot. I blew out the fork seals too.. the dust seal keeper things were on the bottom of the fork tubes when I got home. I think I will turn up the dampening next time LOL.

I talked to RAD this morning and they are mailing me out new bearings and spacers 2nd day mail warrantied, so that is good. I wonder if I should replace that brake bracket..

I found one thing out.. you can't kill Tubliss!! the rest of the bike and you start falling apart first! I was trying to run the rear flat for a video, which was all fine and dandy then I punched a hole through the front too at mile 20 and that went flat. Made for some interesting handling, but no dents in rims and the tires stayed on the whole time just fine.

Yeah crashed in the backyard....I was going about 25mph pulling a wheelie and ran out of room.

Ya know what , I was pretty concerned about the shipping, figured the oil lines, valve cover or
clutch cover were going to suffer, but the way you packed it combined with the container you supplied
it was just as pictured on fleabay. I also took the motor apart quite a bit just to be sure what I bought
and everything looks just as described , barely broken in from the factory and ready to squirt dirt !

Visited Seat Concepts in San Jacinto CA and picked up my new seat. Great set of guys. I will be putting together a thread in June when I get home. I have confidence this is going to be the piece that makes the bike as comfortable as it should be.

Bought an 07 YZ450 head pipe.

This is what I did to my WR this winter:
Replaced the stock plastic skid plate & rad guards with Devol aluminum ones
Set the rear sag to spec
Did the carb vent tubes reroute
Cleaned & regreased all the rear suspension linkages
Respoked the rear wheel
Installed a Rekluse EXP auto clutch (love it so far!)
Went riding!!

RAD warrantied my bearings and seals.. so they sent me new ones... the wrong ones.. and not only the wrong bearings but chinese crap all balls racing bearings.

So I threw them in the trash and got some SKF bearings.

Now I know why the original bearings failed after only 8 months of use.. chinese garbage. thanks RAD, I thought I was buying American made high quality wheels. Not quite.

New chain , sprockets, chain guide rub block and starter relay.

Edit ... Oh yeah also ordered a new rear brake return spring :banghead: :banghead: ........lesson learned,
Maybe cleaning the garage with a leaf blower is not always the best idea......
I seem to be missing a few things, I wonder where they went ? :thinking:

ran the new rekluse z-start this weekend....this thing is a-freakin-mazing!
nothing like chugging up gnarly rocky, rooty climbs in 3rd gear with barely any wheel spin...and in the real tight hare scramble stuff...it was flawless

n16ht5, were you running medium-hard before? what are you running now as far as springs? why the change and what did you notice?

I was med hard before.. pulled the outer spring now so its just the 150 size spring for low rpm hard engagement. Takes Better advantage of the low torque of the Wr.. feels smoother and tractors better, led slip. Going to order the tungsten kit now
