clutch boss hub mod on 426

hi there can anybody tell me if its a good idea to drill more holes in clutch boss and basket to allow more oil to flow to the plates? the only reasen i ask is i stripped my clutch and found some parts of the plates to be dry (mainly the back 3) when i looked at the clutch hub it looks like it would do no harm to try but thought it was best to check with you guys. cheers danny ps a hinson is out of the question as new baby comin soon:ride:
